The London Lions are the capital’s only professional basketball team and one of the UK’s premier clubs, which also competes against Europe’s elite. Serving as a testament to their success, the London Lions women’s team boasted a 52-game unbeaten streak alongside achieving a second-consecutive domestic clean sweep of all Women’s British Basketball League domestic honours, including the league, Cup, Trophy, and Playoffs last season. This success solidified their place in the EuroLeague Women qualifiers for the 2023/24 season. The London Lions men’s side achieved a domestic treble, winning the British Basketball League Playoffs, BBL Championship, and BBL Cup in the 2022/23 season, which also earned them a rightful spot in the prestigious EuroCup.
